Shop and dwelling. Early C17 with later alterations.
Timber-frame and plaster; plain tiled gable roof. Single bay
plan. 3-storeys, attic and cellar; single window range: C20
mullion and transom canted bay with leaded lights and metal
casements, under jetty with C20 enriched bressummer-board, on
enriched consoles; C20, 2-light casement over; C20 casement,
to gable on enriched consoles; C20 enriched bargeboards. Early
C20 shopfront, with later alterations and glazing, continues
to left, C18 wing: brick; plain tile; 3-storeys and cellar;
3-window range: C19 margin glazed sashes under soldier arches;
storey band; similar sashes over. Stucco to left returned
side. Rear has two C18, 9/6 sashes, one 6/6 sash, one late
C19, 9/6 sash, all under segmental arches; casement; C20
glazed door under moulded soldier arch; post and pan, over C18
brick; enriched bressummer board and consoles to 2nd floor,
with C20, 3-light casement; enriched consoles to eaves; wind
brace visible.
