Shop and dwelling. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Brick;
timber-frame and plaster; plain tile roof with twin gables to
front. Single bay plan. 4 storeys and cellar; 2-window range:
C18 bow with 6/6: 6/6: 6/6 sashes, stud and plaster underhang
and C19 cast-iron guard; to right, C20 metal casement with
leaded lights, in oak case; set in close studding. Similar bow
to 2nd floor, but with 4/4: 6/6: 4/4 sashes; jetty to 2nd
floor with enriched C20 bressummer-board and consoles; to
right, C20 mullion window with metal casements and leaded
lights; set in close studding. Jetty to 3rd floor with
enriched bressummer-board and consoles (one C20); two C20
mullion windows with metal casements and leaded lights;
chevron braced box-framing. Twin gables with enriched eaves on
consoles, and enriched finials. Ground floor of C18 brick,
with C20 glazed door and, to left, C20 shop window in altered
opening. Returned sides have C20 enriched eaves and finial.
Front to Harp Lane of C18 brick with C20 casements to 1st and
2nd floors, and C20 dormer with casement. INTERIOR: many
exposed timbers; winder stair with C18 turned balusters.
