Pair of attached houses. c1830. Brick with limestone
dressings, brick stacks and pantile mansard roof. Double-depth
plan. Each of 2 storeys and basement; 1-window range. Each has
a semicircular-arched doorway under a flat canopy on brackets,
and a semicircular-arched stair light. Rear elevation has open
pedimented doorcases with batswing fanlight, and 7 stepped
voussoirs to cambered arches over plate-glass sashes. INTERIOR
not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spear-headed railings with
urn newels to open basement area. Included for group value.
