Rosedale Cottage and area railings
GV II
House. c1830. Render, brick back, with limestone dressings,
roof not visible. Double-depth plan. One storey and basement;
2-window range. A symmetrical front has a central
semicircular-arched doorway with a key and impost blocks and
6-panel door reached by a short bridge; 6/6-pane sashes. Rear
elevation has ashlar pilasters to a parapet, with ashlar
lintels. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached spear-headed railings to front
area.
Substantially complete surviving example from a number of
houses with single-storey elevations: the other example at
No.36 York Road (qv).
