Attached houses and shop. c1860. Limestone ashlar, roof not
visible. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys and attic; 2-window
range. A symmetrical front has a shop front with a central
glazed door and plate-glass windows, right-hand doorway to the
house has a 6-panel door, all with pilasters with festooned
capitals, and fascia blind. Pilaster strips above have incised
ornament to each floor with palmettes, lintel bands to each
floor and a dentil cornice, and attic storey with sill band
and cornice. First- and second-floor windows have architraves,
moulded consoles and dentil cornices broken out over the
consoles, panelled aprons and sill blocks. Attic windows have
pilaster jambs with moulded panels, plinths and capitals,
segmental heads and cornice broken out over the windows.
