School house. 1895. By WV Gough. Pennant rubble with limestone
dressings, brick gable end stacks and a tiled roof.
Single-depth plan. Jacobethan style. 2 storeys; 2-window
range. A symmetrical front with string course and sill band,
and Dutch end gables, with a C20 six-panel door with a square
overlight, 2-light mullion windows and eaves dormers with
small pedimented gables, to 4/4-pane sashes. INTERIOR not
inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front area and rear
garden walls and railings, and walls and railings to left-hand
side of the house with separate gabled playground entrances
with blank panel. Part of one of Bristol's best Board schools.
