Terrace of 3 houses. Early C19. Render and stucco with
limestone dressings and a pantile roof. Double-depth plan.
Late Georgian style. Each of 3 storeys and basement; 1-window
range. Parapeted terrace, No.1 lower, Nos 2 & 4 incorporated
into one house with a single doorway, and Nos 2 & 6 with later
additional window range. Right-hand doorways have consoles to
pediments and semicircular-arched doorways with fanlights and
6-panel doors; 8/8-pane sashes, 4/8-panes on the second floor,
horned 6/6-pane sashes to No.1 and above the doorway of No.6.
In the right return is a C20 door, and an oval plaque
inscribed Cotham Vale. INTERIOR: No.4, entrance hall divided
by a semicircular arch, a rear dogleg stair with stick
balusters and column newels and a ramped rail, cornices,
6-panel doors, panelled shutters and arched recesses either
side of the chimney breast.
