House in 3 sections. c1850. Limestone ashlar with interlocking
tile gable roof. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. 2
storeys, basement and attic; 3-window range.
A symmetrical group of 3 gables, the middle one set back, with
2-storey entrance blocks set back at the ends. Banded
rustication to a plat band, rusticated first-floor pilasters,
attic sill band, and guilloche barge-boards. Entrances in the
end return blocks and the centre have semicircular-arched
doorways with imposts and keys to 6-panel doors with round
panels in the middle. Flanking gables have square ground-floor
bays with parapets and paired semicircular-arched windows with
moulded arches and keys to plate-glass sashes; in the middle
gable, paired ground-floor windows extend to the ground, with
a doorway on the right; similar but smaller sashes to the
first floor and attic, each with a single vertical glazing
bar. INTERIOR not inspected.
