Pair of attached houses. c1820. Limestone ashlar and pantile
roof. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys and
basement, 2-storey flanking blocks set back; 6-window range.
Entrance porches at the sides, deep cornice and parapet with
open balustraded sections and a moulded panel. 7 steps up to
area with spear railings in front of doorways with moulded
round arches, keys and imposts and 6-panel doors, and a
moulded panel above; central ground-floor tripartite windows
with panelled lintels and a floating cornice, those above and
to the side have a cornice on acanthus consoles, the rest with
moulded architraves; 6/6-pane sashes. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached Lias and Pennant rubble garden
wall and ashlar piers, with cast-iron spear railings and
gates.
