Terrace of 3 houses. c1820. Limestone ashlar, brick stacks and
pantile mansard roof. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style.
Each of 3 storeys, basement and attic; 2-window range. Each
house has pilasters, cornice and parapet; left-hand pedimented
doorway with fanlight and 6-panel door, single ground- and
second-floor windows have 8/8-pane sashes, and paired
first-floor French windows to wrought-iron verandah. INTERIOR:
acroteria cornice and post table in hall, right-hand dogleg
stair, reeded fireplaces with roundels and cast-iron grates,
working gas lamps. The plots were laid out by James Foster in
1816.
