House. 1840s. Brick with ashlar dressings; hipped slate roof.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. 1st floor sill
band; top frieze and boxed eaves; brick pilasters. 2 canted
bay windows with Ionic colonnettes, friezes, cornices and
blocking courses, late C19 plate- glass sashes; 1st floor
windows have 12-pane sashes. Central entrance has architrave,
overlight with decorative glazing bars over half-glazed doors;
Ionic porch. Returns similar but left return has windows with
brick flat arches. Rear has round-headed stair window; later
range with 9-pane sashes to 1st floor. INTERIOR: stair with
stick balusters and wreathed handrail.
