Shown on O.S. map as 555 Dudley Road.
2 houses, now office. Early C19 with late C20 alterations.
Brick with plastered ground floor and stone dressings; hipped
slate roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys with basement;
symmetrical 3-window range. Ground floor has round-arched
recesses and sill band, top dentilled cornice and blocking
course. Windows to 1st and 2nd floors have rubbed brick flat
arches, those to ground and 1st floors have 12-pane sashes,
6-pane sashes to 2nd floor. Later central entrance has deep
6-pane overlight and steps. Gable-end stack. C20 plain iron
area railings. Left return to Dudley Road of 3-window range is
similar, but much altered: 2 doorcases and shop front removed.
Similar rear elevation. INTERIOR not inspected.
