4 houses, now offices. Late C18 with later alterations. Brick
with stone dressings; slate roof. Double-depth plan. 2
symmetrical pairs with common central entrances. 3 storeys;
6-window range. 1st floor sill band and top cornice. Ground
floor has canted bay windows with cornices and sashes, those
to Nos 4 and 5 with 8- and 12-pane sashes; 1st floor windows
have stepped plaster lintels with fluted keystone over 4-pane
sashes to 2 and 3; 16-pane, 12-pane, 16-pane sashes to 4 and
5; central window of each house narrower; windows to 2nd floor
have 8-pane sashes to 2 and 3; 8-pane, 4-pane, 6-pane sashes
to 4 and 5 flanking 6-pane sashes central windows.
Round-headed central entrances have Doric aedicules, fluted
capitals to 4 and 5, open pediments, fanlights with radial
glazing bars and 6-panel doors. Cross-axial stack. Rear has
gabled wings. INTERIOR: stick-baluster staircases.
