Two houses, now two shops and offices. Early C19, with C20
alteration. Painted brick, right return in English garden-wall
bond, with painted quoins and timber eaves cornice; brick end
stacks to pantile roof. 3-storey 4-window front. C20 double
shop front with continuous fascia and cornice on plain
columns: entrance hall door to left of centre between 2 shops.
Upper storey windows are 12-pane sashes, those on first floor
with painted stone sills, and taller than those on second
floor; raised sillband to second floor windows. INTERIOR:
quarter-turn open-string staircase with shaped treadends,
slender turned balusters and moulded handrail, wreathed at
foot.
