Terrace of 3 houses. Late C18. English garden wall bond
brickwork, tile roof, brick stacks.
2 storeys and attic to mansard roof, 1+1+1-windowed.
Double-depth plan. Raking dormers with 6-pane casement, but
2-light casement to No.34, above square 8+4-pane horizontal
sliding sash in broad boxes, tight to the eaves, but No.34 has
replacement. At ground floor are 3-light casements to
segmental heads on brick cills. Early plank doors to segmental
heads, and with small plank hood on brackets; far right a
throughway to segmental head. Brick dentil course eaves. Large
square central stack, smaller at half-hipped ends. Backs
altered in C20.
One of the better survivals of artisan housing in this street,
and an early surviving example of its type.
