House, now shop and flat. Early C19 with late C19 alterations.
Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings; roof of stone
slates with stone gable coping and stone chimney. 2 storeys;
2-window range. 6-panel door and high overlight recessed at
left in tooled stone surround. Shop front has deeply-recessed
glazed door at left, and wide 2-light window with tiled
stall-riser; side pilasters have central patera and support
deep curved brackets with gabled finials which flank fascia
and cornice. First floor has 4-pane sash at left with flat
stone lintel and projecting stone sill, and canted bay window
at right with renewed sashes, the central with 4 panes, under
deep cornice. Roof has stone ridge, plain right end gable
coping, and right end stone chimney with top band and tapered
square yellow pots. INTERIOR: not inspected.
