Farmhouse, earlier C18, extended later C19. Main wing in dark red brick with lighter
dressings, extension in Luton Greys, old clay tile roof overall. The main wing of two
storeys and attics has a three room plan with one gable chimney on its south-east end
and substantial double-sided chimney; the two storey C19 extension on its nortn-west
end forms an L plan. The north-east elevation has moulded cornices, a tall chamfered
plinth and three pilasters, that opposite the double-sided chimney breaking through
a storey band; each storey has four 2- or 3-light casements under cambered heads. The
south-west elevation has some chequered brickwork and a 19th century dormer. The north-west
elevation of the 19th century extension has brick pilasters in imitation of the main
building, and three 3-light casements under red brick gauged heads. The plain interior
has substantial axial beams.
