Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber framed and rendered, lined to imitate ashlar.
Pantiled roof with glazed black tiles to the front. 3-cell form, extended to
right in mid C20. 2 storeys. 4 windows, mainly C19 3-light casements; some
square-leaded glass in 3 upper windows. Ground floor has a 6-paned sash
window each side of the doorway and a slatted dairy window to the left. Lobby
entrance with C20 semi-glazed door. Internal stack with original plain shaft.
Small C19 colourwashed brick wing to rear. Interior. Most of the frame is
concealed. Closely-spaced plain joists, set flat, in hall and parlour.
Unmodernised dairy with square ceiling joists and old brick floor. Oak newel
stair in rear lean-to, probably original. Roof not examined.
