Social club with adjoining shop and dwelling. Dated 1891 on
porch gable facing Bridge Street; for Rev. George Irvine Davies
(originally known as Church House Club). Red brick, plastered
first floor, pantiled roof. 2 storeys. Arts and Crafts style.
2 interlocking wings at right angles, both with overhanging first
floors. Casement windows with square leaded panes, the west
gable with a large 6-light first floor window with semi-circular
arched transom over the 2 centre lights. Facing north onto
Bridge Street is a narrow gabled porch, open to the ground floor
and with a glazed first floor; paired boarded entrance doors. A
flight of steps leads from the porch to a small overhanging first
floor balcony, the roof swept over this stairway. The Bridge
Street gable has an external stack set diamondwise with brick
consoles at first floor level. The social club is joined to the
