House, now Inn. C17. Timber-framed, square framing with diagonal bracing; right
gable wall rebuilt in C20; C20 tile roof; brick stack. 2-unit plan. 2- storey,
2-window range. Central C20 porch and door. Early C19 canted five-light leaded
windows to first floor; 6-light leaded windows with decorative top light set in
canted bays with stone slate roof flank door. Each side wing is gabled; front
left internal stack:. Interior: shouldered flat arch to stone fireplace in front
right room; some main chamfered and stopped beams survive but interior
extensiveley remodelled. Wing to left with rendered walling retains C17 three
light casements with ovolo-moulded mullions. Rear C17 block retains timber
frame to right side only; thatched; lateral brick stack. C20 lean-to against
gable wall.
