Farmhouse, C16 to C18, timber-frame, rubble stone and some
roughcast with stone slate roofs. Two storeys and attic. North
front is timber-framed with large projecting rubble stone central
stack and rubble stone projecting end of crosswing to right.
Framing each side of stack is on rubble plinth and has angle
braces, ground floor casement pair each side and triple casement
dormer to left and casement pair dormer to right. To right of
timber-frame, rubble stone section with door and eaves-breaking
dormer. Crosswing end wall has 2-light timber-mullioned attic
window, 2-light ovolo-moulded window to first floor and 2-light
recessed chamfered mullion window with hoodmould to ground floor.
East end of timber-framed range has exposed square framing with
angle-braces, row of 3 attic casements and ground floor pair of C18
two-light casements to right of blocked 3-light C17 ovolo-moulded
timber mullion window. C18 rear wing with 2-light flush cyma-
moulded windows to east and west sides. Cross wing west front is
roughcast late C17 range with ridge stack, 2 hipped dormers, and
leaded ovolo-moulded mullion windows to main floors, five 2-lights
above, three 2-light windows below, originally 4 under single
hoodmould, now broken for inserted door with hood on brackets and
one 3-light with hoodmould to right.
