Estate farmhouse, 1847 for Joseph Neeld of Grittleton, squared
rubble stone with stone slate eaves roof and diagonally-shafted
stacks. Two storeys, square plan, Tudor style with small paned
casements in stone mullion windows with hoodmoulds. Three-window
south front has two main gables and gablet between, main gables
with apex roundels marked 'A' and 'T', 2-light windows to each
floor, but single light to first floor centre, dripcourse and door
in broad gabled porch. Porch has stone slates, ashlar Tudor-arched
lintel and roundel over, marked 'I.N. 1847'. North west rear wing
has 2-storey dairy and cheese room range, gabled to north. Twin-
gabled 2-window range of 2-light windows to east front.
