Originally a farmhouse, now a single-cell cottage, the left hand portion of
the house missing. Early C17. Timber framed and plastered, pantiled roof. 2
storeys and attic. 2 windows, mid C20 large pane casements; mid C20 boarded
door and simple open porch. Heavy stack at the left hand gable end. Lean-to
addition to left hand side. The interior has exposed joists; on the first
floor there is exposed framing, original floorboarding and a good plank
cornice with ovolo moulding. Newel stairs, largely rebuilt.
