The 2004 restoration of this 19th century crane was carried out by The Bridgwater and Civic Society with assistance provided by Bridgwater College, The Environment Agency and Sedgemoor District Council in commemoration of Clare Bowen O.B.E. The first Chairman of Bridgwater College Governors.
