Bridge. 1770-71. By Richard Woods. For John Luther of Great
Myles. Red brick and some stone. Humped, single span with
picturesque curved outward sweeping walls. Segmental arch,
rusticated with stone keystone. Parapet with recessed panels.
Dentilled course at lower parapet base and 2 roundels below.
Stone capping to parapets. The bridge cost ยป250 to build, a
tributary of the River Roding being dammed to make a lake.
