Terrace of 3 houses. c1800 with later alterations. Brick, part
painted, part stuccoed, with ashlar dressings; slate M-roof
with brick cross-axial stacks. Double-depth plan; central
staircases to double-fronted houses. 3 storeys; 9-window
range. 2 gabled rear wings. No 59 has 1st floor sill band and
top cogged brick cornice. Entrance has enclosed porch with
fluted pilasters and frieze with rosettes to angles; panelled
door. Ground floor has late C19 timber bay window to right,
window with wedge lintel over 12-pane sash to left; 1st floor
has 12-pane sashes with C20 shutters; 2nd floor has windows
with sills and 6-pane sashes with C20 shutters. No 61 has
ashlar ground floor and top cornice and blocking course. Porch
has Doric half-columns, frieze and modillioned cornice carried
over flanking bow windows; paired half-glazed doors; windows
with tripartite French windows; 1st floor has 12-pane sashes
flanking French window; 2nd floor has windows with sills and
6-pane sashes. No 63 has top cogged brick frieze. Enclosed
porch with top cornice and panelled door; flanking bow windows
with cornices and C20 casements; 1st floor windows have sills
and 12-pane sashes; 2nd floor has casement windows.
