Two houses. c1770. Brick with stucco dressings; slate roof
with brick cross-axial stack. 3 storeys; symmetrical 2-window
range. Top brick cornice. Entrances have doorcases with fluted
pilasters, friezes and pediments, and glazed doors, and flank
2 later small-paned shop windows with fascia. 1st floor has
windows with wedge lintels over 6-pane horned sashes; 2nd
floor has long workshop-type windows with small-paned glazing.
Rear has single-storey wing. Part of a group of late C18
buildings in Stafford Street.
