Summerfield Lodge

GV II

Sexton's cottage. c1860. Stone rubble with ashlar dressings;
hipped, banded plain tile roof; stone ridge and end stacks.
L-shaped plan. 2 storeys; single-window range: 2-light
casement with chamfered stone mullion and case, interrupting
eaves. Central entrance: plank door with pointed head, under
chamfered ashlar arch of gable-porch; flanked by plain lights,
to left with mullion, in quoined ashlar cases. Right returned
side: tier of 2-light mullion casements; plain light to rear
wing.
