Vicarage. c.1830-40; altered. red brick in Flemish bond with
sandstone dressings and slate roof. Square plan. Mixed style
with some Jacobean features. Two storeys and 3x3 bays with 2
small gables in each side; symmetrical facade with the centre
slightly set back between the gabled bays; stone plinth;
central doorway with triangular-headed stone surround
enclosing door and side windows (probably C20), a small stone
lozenge above the doorway, and a 1-light window at 1st floor;
large vertical-rectangular windows on both floors of the
flanking bays, with raised sills, rectangular stone lintels
and cross-window glazing (also probably C20); steeply-pitched
gables with wooden finials and ridged coping which steps down
to form parapet carried round. South side (to garden) in
similar style, but with stone canted bay window to 3rd bay.
Two chimney stacks with pairs of Tudor-style octagonal chimney
pots decorated with strap-work and embattled caps. INTERIOR
not inspected.
