2 terraced houses (No.31 now amalgamated). C17/C18.
Timber-framed and plastered, brick, peg-tiled and slate roofs.
Stepped plan of street range with rear additions. 2 storeys
and cellar. Front W elevation: 5 window range plus 2 doorways
and S end carriageway, ashlar lining on plasterwork. No.33 (S
end), windows sliding sashes with moulded architraves, now
with leaded panes of 3-light casement form, 2 on first floor,
one ground floor. Carriageway door C19, 2 leaves. House door
at N end, C19 boarded and battened. No.29 (N end). All windows
C20 3-light casements with leaded panes in style of No.33. 3
on ground and first floors. House door at N end. C20 similar
to that at No.33. Cellar grille at S end. Ridge stack central
to No.29. Rear E elevation: plasterwork above carriageway has
basket pargetting. No.33, ground floor brick lean-to with
slated roof, red brick stack behind, second similar stack
through lean-to roof pitch. C20 simple door with upper light.
2-light casement window each side. (No.29) 2 storey gault
brick lean-to, slated roof rises to principal house ridge,
stack through roof pitch, 2 segment headed first floor
windows, ground floor lean-to below.
