Railway engine shed and workshop with forge and attached
workshop. c1865. Slatestone rubble walls, rag slate roofs; 2
rubble stacks; one over rear gable the other a lateral stack
on left of workshop wing. Rectangular plan: twin engine house
with narrow workshop wing at an angle in front of the
left-hand side. Single-storey front gable end with original
near Diocletian window over pair of round-arched doorways.
Other windows mostly old with transoms; left-hand engine
doorway blocked, otherwise C20 doors. INTERIOR not inspected.
