Village house with later shop. Early C19. Render replacing
stucco on rubble; rag slate roof, hipped on the left; rendered
end stack on the right; cast-iron ogee gutters. Double-depth
tapered corner site plan with shop clasping the end. 3
storeys; 3-window range. Original hornless sashes with glazing
bars; square 2nd floor windows; blind window to 1st-floor
left; 2-light return of shop front on left with original
arched lights; door within plain stucco architrave. North end
(left-hand return) has recessed sign panel to 2nd floor over 2
late C19 four-pane hornes sashes over late C19 double shop
front with wide end pilasters, slender mullions with arched
heads and moulded entablature with fascia; original pair of
glazed doors. Rear has 3-window range with blind windows
except for original 12-pane hornless sashes to ground-floor
left and above and later horned sash to 2nd floor right;
original 6-panel door. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be
of interest.
