2 houses, now 2 shops. Early C18 with rear additions c1760;
front remodelled early C19. Plastered and colourwashed
timber-frame. Mixed roofing material: No.7 has artificial
slate to front and plain tiles to rear, No.9 with slate front,
corrugated concrete tiles rear. 2 storeys; 4-window front.
Between 2 premises is a square carriage arch to rear. No.7
with a half-glazed C20 door and a sash without glazing bars.
No.9 with a C20 half-glazed C20 door flanked either side by a
C19 8/8 sash. Four 8/8 sashes to first floor. Gabled roof of 2
pitches above an eaves cornice of paired mutules. Internal
gable-end stacks, that to east cut-down. 2 late C18 brick
cross wings to rear: ground-floor C20 casements, first floor
8/8 sashes. INTERIOR. Close studded timber-frame visible to
east wall of carriage arch on both floors. West side of
archway is C20 brick.
