House. 1851-1855. By Charles Lynam. Stucco over brick, with
slate roof. Italianate style. 2-storeyed and 3 bays, a tower
of 3 storeys forming the left-hand bay with single
round-arched window on each floor. Projecting porch in angle
of right-hand range, with single round-arched window over, and
wide sash windows beyond. Overhanging eaves. Gable end stack.
Built as part of a private development of middle-class houses,
originally comprising an estate of 24 dwellings.
