Terraced houses. 1836-7. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roofs obscured by parapet. Three storeys over
basement, two windows each. Basement and ground floor
stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded rustication.
Steps up to round-arched entrance, the doorcase set within a
recesssed round arch of smooth stucco, with Ionic pilasters,
panelled doors of original design to nos 2-6 and fanlights
apparently renewed throughout; ground-floor window
round-arched and set within a recessed round arch of smooth
stucco. Upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads and
sashes of original design to first and second floors on nos
1-5. Balconies to all first-floor windows, nos 2-5 having
original single balcony to both windows on iron brackets with
iron railings, and nos 1 and 6 replacements. Stucco cornice
and blocking-course; stacks on party walls. No 6 has a
single-storey extension to the side with round-arched window.
Railings to no 2 appear to be original, the rest replacement.
