Terraced houses. c.1820. Grey-brown brick set in Flemish bond,
roof of Welsh slate. Four storeys over basement except no 33
which has three; three windows each except no 35 which has
two; round-arched entrances with fluted three-quarter columns
and cornice on no 33, reeded doorcase on no 34, fluted
quarter-columns and cornice on no 35 and remains of doorcase
with sidelights on no 36; fanlights, with decorative glazing
on no 35. Round-arched windows to ground floor with gauged
brick heads. All upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick
heads; eastern bay of no 33 appears to have been rebuilt with
two flat-arched windows with gauged brick heads. Otherwise
first-floor windows have piano nobile proportions and are set
in recessed round-arched panels with gauged brick heads,
except on no 35; iron balconies to all first-floor windows.
Parapet to no 33, sloping on eastern bay, mansard roof with
dormers behind parapet on nos 34 and 35, front wall carried up
to fourth floor on no 36 with vestigial cornice and parapet.
Stacks on party walls. Area railings with spearhead and urn
finials.
