Terraced house. c.1824. Developed by Richard Laycock. Yellow
brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
Two storeys over basement, two bays wide, the left-hand bay
set forward from the wall by one brick's thickness and the
entrance bay set back by the same amount. Basement stuccoed.
Two-storey, mid-C19 canted bay to basement and ground floor
with palm-leaf ornament to capitals, cornice and blocking
course. Steps up with iron railings to flat-arched entrance
with pilasters, panelled door and overlight. First-floor
windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads. Simple cornice
and blocking course. Dame Flora Robson lived here.
