Terraced houses. c.1825. Developed by Richard Laycock. Yellow
brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roofs obscured by parapet.
Two storeys over basement, no 1 with three windows and
double-fronted, the rest two windows each. Basement stuccoed
on all but no 1; steps up with iron railings to round-arched
entrance with gauged brick head, simple moulded doorcase set
deep under cornice, fanlight, and panelled door of original
design; except that no 1 has a doorcase with fluted pilasters,
deep cornice and decorative glazing to fanlight. Ground-floor
windows round-arched with gauged brick heads, first-floor
windows flat-arched; sashes of original design, with radiating
glazing bars and margin lights to ground floor, to nos 1
(ground floor), 3, 5 (ground floor), 7 (first floor) and 9;
parapet; stacks to party walls.
