4/200 Tanhouse Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Circa early C17. Square panel timber-framing with
brick infill, rear wings are rubblestone, double Roman tiled roof
with coped verges and saddlestone, brick stacks. Two-room plan
with lobby entry; 2-bays with addition to right and wings to rear.
2-storey, 2 windows. Door to left of centre has wooden latticed
porch with canopy, either side are 3-light wooden casements. First
floor has one 3-light and one 4-light casement. Wind bracing to
timber framing. To right is rendered rubblestone bay, continues to
right return. To rear are two projecting wings with wooden
casements and central C20 extension.
