Gate piers, gates, railings and walls on north east and north west sides of Waterhouse

Gate piers, gates, railings and walls. Circa 1800. Limestone
ashlar piers with moulded cornices to square cappings, spearhead
and hoop-topped cast-iron double gates with dogbars. Spearhead
cast-iron railings on limestone dwarf walls flanking gates and
continuing along lane to west for c36 metres; intermediate square
piers, dwarf walls give way to revetment walls as level of lane
drops below garden.
