Inn. Early C19. 2 storeys. Red brick, colour-washed on front: thatched
roof, hipped, with a semi-circular overhang on the front supported on posts.
2 2-storey shallow canted bays with small-paned sash windows flank the central
doorway. C20 door. Attached to each end of the front wall is a half-round
wooden pilaster with composite capital extended to the top of the wall by a
moulded upper section. A single storey brick lean-to with pantiled roof along
the north side. The inn sign hangs from an elaborately scrolled support of
wrought ironwork spanning the yard in front of the building, attached on one
side to the eaves and on the other to a tall post.
