House, now nursing home. C17 rear cross wing, late C18 - early C19 front wing
extended to left in C19 and rear C20. Timber-framed, rendered. C19 section in
white brick. Red brick stacks. Plain tile roof. Front range 2 storeys, 3 bays,
central stairhall plan. Central Ionic porch with replaced columns and open
pedimented hood containing 6-panel door. Flanked by long sashes with glazing bars
in flush architraves. To first floor, 16-pane sashes flank 12-pane sash, flush
architraves. Canted single-storey bay to right return. Single-storey C19 range
to left with central canted bay with plate glass sashes under pyramidal roof. C20
brick range to rear of no special interest. Interior: staircase with stick
balusters, column newels and ramped handrail. Rear range shows chamfered jowled
posts, one with arch brace.
