House. C16 with C17 alterations. C20 extension and alterations. Timber-framed,
rendered, rear extension weatherboarded. Thatched roof, red brick stack. One
storey and attic, 3-cell plan. C20 tiled timber porch to right of centre contains
glazed door and 3-light casement. C20 mullion window with leaded lights to right
angle. Canted bay with casement windows to left. Gabled dormer with 2-light case-
ment. Ridge stack. Roof hipped at right. 2 further gabled dormers to rear.
Interior: fanning exposed. Beamed ceilings, exposed joists. Hall originally open,
floored over and stack inserted C17. Smoke-blackened common rafter roof found
during renovation according to owner.
