Large house now Masonic Hall. Late C18, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond,
Welsh slate roof. L-shaped plan, 2 storeys, 7 x 6 bays with additions in
rear-right angle (not of special interest). Entrance front: 2 : 3 : 2 bays
with projecting piers between, cemented plinth. Door and overlight in wooden
doorcase to bay 2, otherwise plain sashes with projecting sills and flat
brick arches (the central window with wider arch than present sash and
probably the original door); ground-floor bay-7 window is painted. Hipped
roof with truncated ridge stack on left. Left return: 24-pane sashes to bays
1, 3 and 4; bay 5 has a canted 1-storey bay window with sashes of 8 : 12 and
8 lights; blind window to bay 6. 1st floor: 4-pane sashes; gable end to roof
on left, truncated ridge stack to right of centre.
