II

House, later 2 cottages; late C18-early C19. Red and blue brick on
malmstone footings, thatched roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central
hall plan with narrow rear rooms and extensions to gable ends.
Front has 4 brick pilasters meeting oversailing courses at eaves.
Half-glazed door with 3-light fanlight. Paned casement windows to
upper floor, 16-pane sashes to ground floor within segmental headed
openings. Gable stacks with patterned bricks. To left, mid C19
extension of 2 storeys, 1 bay. To right single-storey extension
outbuilding in cob, in poor order (November 1985).
Interior has ogee stops to spine beams in main rooms flanking hall,
and cross partition timber framed.
