Malt House Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, now private house. Later C18. Diaper brick with
thatched roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central 6-panelled door with
lead hipped flat canopy. Tripartite 4-pane sashes to ground floor
with segmental brick arches and blue flush strings. Bricks scratch
dated 1771 and initials of members of Hitchcock family. 'S' ties.
Gable stack to left. Single storey thatched extension to right
gable. C20 two-storey extension to rear.
