Cross shaft. Probably late C12-early C13, resited C20. Magnesian
limestone, now set in sandstone plinth. Approximately 1.3 metres
high and 33cm by 24cm at the base. West face carved in relief has,
at its base, a figure holding an open book beneath a pointed arch.
Above, a crudely carved animal and the legs of another figure now
truncated by the irregularly broken top. Rear: acanthus foliage
to each side of a central shaft. Left return: ring twist with pellets.
Right return: acanthus foliage in an irregular scroll.
