190, 192 and 194 New Kings Road, Jasmine House, Jasmine Cottage and Vine Cottage (demolished without planning permission in the early 1970s) are shown as a group of 3 on the New Kings Road immediately below the gardens of the Fulham Refuge, a reformatory for prostitutes who were taught laundry skills. The three houses were leased by the Prison authorities who housed, throughout the middle years of the 19th century, the Steward of the Refuge in Jasmine House and the Janitor in Jasmine Cottage.
