House tow. Early C19. Grey headers with red brick quoins, dressing and
decoration. Flat wooden eaves soffit with paired wooden brackets to
slate roof with five brick ridge stacks. 3 storeys; 5 window front,
glazing bar sashes, those on second floor shallower than those below.
The row consists of 5 houses, the windows centrally arrayed between
brick quoins, which between the first and second and second and third
houses from the left become diaper brick patterns between the second
floor windows. Single shopfront to extreme right with inset door to
left, (No 5). Single shopfront to right of centre with door to right, (No 8).
Panelled doors with fanlights in round-arched surrounds with moulded
surrounds with key- and impost blocks to left of No 6 and right of No 7.
Panelled door to left in architrave surround with flat pentice hood on
small brackets over with curved large window on curving end of block,
(No 9). No 9 continues round the corner into Sun Street with a side
facade of three storeys and 2 windows.
