2 houses. Early C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate
roofs. Each originally 2-unit plans. Single storey with attics. Together
comprising a 4-window range, of C19 three-paned sash windows, under wood
lintels. Similar windows, under hipped eaves dormers, to attic. Window to ground
floor right of centre was originally a shop window. C19, part-glazed, door to
Ivy Cottage to left and two 4-panel doors to The Old Post Office, to right; all
under wood lintels. Central open entry, giving access to rear, is also under
wood lintel. Brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. C19 extensions to rear.
Interior of Ivy Cottage has chamfered spine beam.
